Making Disciples

Children are an integral part of Foothill Community Church and we offer a variety of opportunies for kids to participate.  One of our primary goals at FCC is to disciple our youth so they become active members of the church body.

Family Involvement

At Foothill Community Church, we believe that family involvement is critical to a child's spiritual upbringing.  In all of our activities and learning opportunities, families are encouraged to participate and come along side their children as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Sunday school is offered to children from 3 years of age to 6th grade.  Please sign-in your children in the foyer before entering the sanctuary.  Children start worship in the sanctuary and are then called up front for a children’s blessing with the pastor. Teachers and staff lead the children to appropriate classes for the remainder of service.  Please pick up your children promptly after service. Children will not be released without the parent tag.

Nursery/Toddler

Our nursery is available to children ages birth through 3 years of age. Loving caregivers are available to welcome little ones fifteen minutes before service begins. The nursery is located in the youth house (see map).  Pagers are used if your child needs assistance. We see it as a privilege to care for your little ones during service.

Awana

Each September through early May, Foothill Community Church sponsors the Awana program.  3 year olds through 6th Grade kids meet each Wednesday for scripture memorization, bible stories, discipleship, games and fun!  Registration for the 2008-2009 program will begin on August 10th.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Each summer, Foothill Community Church hosts a Family VBS.  For three nights, families come together for food, fellowship, learning and fun.   Watch this site for the dates for 2009.
